For many parents, hunting for nursery furniture that balances functional safety requirements with sophisticated apartment or home decor can be a daunting task. The new collection addresses this challenge directly by applying professional design principles to pieces typically restricted to the nursery. According to Berkus, the primary objective was to ensure that every item could seamlessly transition into other areas of the home as children grow or as family needs evolve over time.
"Most people look at a glider and immediately think ‘nursery,’ and I really wanted to challenge that," Berkus explains of the design philosophy behind the collaboration. "We approached the silhouette, the fabrics, the proportions, and all of those little details exactly as I would any other chair in the home. It needed to earn its place."

The Refined Recliners
At the center of the assortment are two distinct power recliner styles: the Sigi Pro Power Recliner and Swivel Glider, priced at $1,599, and the Westham Electronic Recliner and Glider, priced at $1,299. Both models are engineered to provide ergonomic support for late-night feedings and reading sessions while maintaining a tailored, sophisticated appearance.

The Sigi model features power-adjustable headrests and lumbar support, and is available in finishes including olive stripe, toffee stripe, and cream linen. The Westham model offers an integrated USB port and comes in contemporary gray or white tweed-like textiles. Recognizing the realities of parenting young children, Berkus specified water-repellent and stain-resistant Performance Slub Weave fabrics for the seating options.
"I’m under no illusion that anything is going to remain pristine," Berkus notes regarding the durable material choices.

To demonstrate the versatility of the seating, Babyletto’s campaign imagery styles the recliners in entryways and living rooms rather than traditional nurseries. Berkus emphasizes that parents often develop a strong sentimental attachment to the chair that supported them through sleepless nights, making long-term adaptability an essential consideration in the design process. "I want people to look at these pieces and imagine where they might live five or ten years from now," he adds.
The Versatile Case Pieces

Beyond the seating options, the collection includes a range of case goods designed with timeless architectural details and high-end finishes. The assortment features a six-drawer wide dresser, an assembled bookcase equipped with integrated cable management, an adjustable-shelf armoire priced at $1,599, and a bedside nightstand.
These storage essentials are distinguished by whimsical ball feet and are offered in a rich green finish or a dark wood veneer. To further assist with organization, the designer included a line of patterned fabric accessory bins intended for stashing toys, diapers, blankets, and children’s books. Each piece is constructed to withstand years of heavy use while maintaining a sophisticated silhouette suitable for bedrooms, home offices, or shared family spaces.

The Classic Crib That Converts
The cornerstone of the collection’s sleep solutions is the Astre All-Stages 8-in-1 Crib, priced at $999. Leaning into subtle Art Deco influences, the crib features a rounded oak veneer silhouette accompanied by elegant trim around the end panels. The modular design is engineered to adapt through multiple stages of early childhood, converting easily from a bassinet into a standard crib and eventually into a toddler bed kit, complete with antique bronze casters.

While the crib provides a solid foundational anchor for designing a new baby’s room, Berkus advises parents against over-decorating from the start. He suggests taking a measured approach once the primary functional items are in place.
"I think the best nurseries change almost immediately once you start actually living in them," Berkus observes. "You’ll discover what you reach for 20 times a day. And then the books and toys and photographs and little objects start arriving—the things that actually tell the story of your child."
